We went on a group outing to the German History Museum on Museum Island. We had a tour at noon about the Weimar Republic and WWII, but until then we had some free time in the museum.
Our task was to find two things related to things we've discussed in Search but from different centuries. Here are my two picks:
After the tour, we had the rest of the day to do with as we wished. After lunch at the Galeries Lafayette (recommended by the professors, it was pretty good), my group decided to go to the zoo!
My favorite part of the zoo was probably the jelly fish. I got some amazing photos and videos of them - this site won't let me attach any videos or I'd put all the really cool ones I filmed. It was awesome.
That night we also went to go see X-Men Apocalypse at the cinema in the Sony Center. Seats are assigned when you buy your ticket, like in Holland. Plus there are red curtains so it looks like you're going to see a play instead of a movie - and the movie screen was gigantic. Definitely worth seeing a movie there. Also, unsurprisingly, they sell beer as part of concessions.
