In Search class, we discussed Nietzsche and his values, particularly his ideas of good vs. bad and good vs. evil. We spent a while going through the questions the presenters and Prof. Bridges made for Nietzsche.
After German class and lunch, we had a lecture on the Enlightenment by Dr. Bruno von Lutz. He focused on different key terms and definitions, using specific works and people as examples. He printed out the slides of his presentation so we could refer to them if we couldn't make it out on the screen, but the printouts were often worse than looking at the screen. It was an interesting lecture, but it was long and seemed kind of choppy as it kept jumping from people to events to ideas.
As with most class and lecture days, not much happened outside of the class room, but we had more than enough reading for the next day to keep us occupied!
